Founder of Make Crypto Make Sense (MCMS)

Lawyer, entrepreneur, and strategist with more than twenty-eight years of cross-border experience in law, finance, and emerging technology.

Erez Almog is a lawyer, strategist, and entrepreneur with more than twenty-eight years of cross-border experience in law, finance, and emerging technology. He began his career in the late 1990s advising on U.S. IPOs and complex international transactions, and went on to build a substantial international practice across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

His background is uncommon in the digital assets sector. He is not a "crypto person" but a lawyer trained in the UK with decades of work in corporate governance, fintech, regulatory strategy, commercial disputes, and multi-jurisdictional structuring. This combination of legal precision, operational realism, and the ability to see the game several moves ahead is what shapes the philosophy behind Make Crypto Make Sense.

Over the years, Erez has advised founders, funds, exchanges, and operators navigating high-stakes regulatory environments. He understands how rules are drafted, how they are applied in practice, and where the real risks, legal, organisational, and reputational, tend to hide. His work blends law, psychology, human behaviour, and business strategy, giving him a perspective rooted in lived experience rather than theory.

In 2025, Erez built Make Crypto Make Sense from the ground up, architecting the platform, writing every article, and using advanced AI models as research co-pilots rather than replacements. His objective was straightforward: create an institutional-grade intelligence service that cuts through noise and explains how digital assets, tokenisation, and programmable finance are evolving beneath the headlines. The platform reflects his conviction that clarity is infrastructure, and that understanding the rules before they are enforced is a strategic advantage.

Erez is based in Israel and works globally. He brings the same attitude to MCMS that has defined his career: direct, analytical, and grounded in reality. No noise. Just work, done properly.
