He began his career in the late 1990s advising on U.S. IPOs and complex international transactions, and went on to build a substantial international practice across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

His background is uncommon in the digital assets sector. He is not a "crypto person" but a lawyer trained in the UK with decades of work in corporate governance, fintech, regulatory strategy, commercial disputes, and multi-jurisdictional structuring. Over the years, Erez has advised founders, funds, exchanges, and operators navigating high-stakes regulatory environments.
